i hated that game! it would tell you youhave a 90% chance to hit then miss 4 out of 4 shots, and they would kill your character! AAARRRRGH just thinking about it ARRRGH. You were probably hiring cheapo mercs who used to work at the post office! What's that guys name again... That game was great fun at the time! Probably a bit zzz now though. Love firing mortars around An impossible game to play is Fallout! That's ARGH! I heard it's a classic and all, so I tried it out, didn't get very far

believe me - put a pentagram door knocker on your front door and you'll never see them again
NOT true
when one came to my door and saw my pentagram he wouldn't go away Probably thought you needed some saving.. :bigglasse Yes, if I had proof of a God, I would tell everyone.

if you check that statement out you'll find it is infact a myth created in the 1600s or 1700's nobody in gallileo's or colombus's time (the usual reference) thought the world was flat.
Churches were however burning people for suggesting the earth wasn't the centre of the universe (ie it went around the sun) good old catholics, but they are the most violent & largest bunch of any religion as far as I'm aware. I'm sure someone believed/believes the Earth is flat  http://www.alaska.net/~clund/e_djublonskopf/Flatearthsociety.htm

Both science and religion try to explain how we came to be, in not necessarily exclusive ways.
If we look at Aboriginal dreamtime, Native American Indians and Maoris, this was how they explained the earth's creation.. large snakes crawled the Earth and created rivers, a crow dropped pebbles in the ocean to create land, features of the land e.g. a mountain, were actual beings which moved if they had an argument. If we can agree these views are flawed, can we not say the same for religion?
I'll also add that science is not infallible either, we did believe the Earth was flat

Darkov you know what you beleive in, that may be a good thing but your also beleiving what you have been told to beleive. No different no matter how logical. Of course we all believe in what we are told because the fact is, no one really knows, or will ever know what the 'truth' is without some sort of some big discovery, as in, someone builds a time machine or a heavenly being visits us. Short of that, I think most of us are already pretty set in what we believe or just don't care to think about it.

You don't have to look very far for proof that we came from monkeys... as unfortunate as that may seem.

Duke Nukem 3D That game was fun! If I looked at it now though, I might just keel over at the graphics.. Placing pipe bombs all over the map and detonating them all at the same time :bigglasse
