General Chat / Old games that used to float your boat?
« on: January 14, 2012, 12:12:15 pm »
wow yea all the worms games were all awesome and Duke 3D (in my opinion) was the start of fps. Clocked the demo multiple times, also clocked Duke Nukem 2 (Side scrolling) on an old mac laptop.

Red Alert 1: I played this game about 50 hours and only ever got to the 7th level (easy difficulty was still impossible)
Command and Conquer 1: Clocked this. Such a frustrating game, but worth killing Kane in the end. Brotherhood of Nod was so OP when you play GDI and GDI OP wen you play Nod.

Red Alert 2 and Yuri expansion: Both awesome clocked both of these (the zapper tank things allies got were the best)

Is this the right section? I hope so.

For me it was Starwars Jedi knight: Jedi academy. There is something insanely satisfying about using force choke to smash storm troopers into walls, throw them off ledges, and electrocut them for no real reason. The story was not half bad either, and the fact that you could choose to be good or evil (yes i did both and it was awesome each time) was pretty out their for its time. (Clocked this about ten times, and it was worth it each time)

Honorable Mentions: Age of empires 2 (The first every lan game i played)
Call of Duty 1 (Thinking i was awesome that i could run it at full settings)
Freelancer (for being an awesome space game, being an intergalactic space cop was extremely fun. Blasting baddies and running away, occasionally)

So what used to float your boat?

hmm, prolly not a 2.6, ill go look in the manual, or something. but altezza's are great cars, would highly recommend them, ours cost 15k and hardly any k's on the clock, runs like a beaut, plenty of gas when you put you foot down and can be insured as a Toyota Corolla! What more can you want? you can mod it up with some nice wheels and sounds if you want, make it look a bit more boy racer, but thats your decision.

mm nice^ Ive got a Altezza and a Mazda 3 MPS sedan, both have decent sounds, the mazda with the stock standard speakers and the altezza with a sony xplode kit with a pretty decent sub (not sony but ill find out). The Mazda is pretty quick off the get go and has a nice vrooom sound, probably my favorite. EXCEPT FOR THE DOORS, Mazda 3 doors, i swear, most annoying things ever. Altezza is nice though, automatic seats (very fun to play with). Hopefully ill get some picks of the Mazda.
