arnt all snowflakes perfect untill the hit something, all of them are different, which is some type of perfection in itself. there is a best game ever, we just needa find it lol. and yeah ones that make you forget you are at your computer. tis what is called imersion. you are so imerssed in the game that you dont notice anyting outside the boundries of your monitor

yeah doing game by era is a better way of seeing what games where best.
commander keen series was brilliant. um final fastasy series. all of them not just the ones everyone knows. ff1,2,3... and there was another one that had no number, used to play that on a nes or snes emulator. pretty much the same as the new ones, turn based combat. main diff was graphics.

yeah a list from all the replys to this thread. although u can tell who are new gamers and who are old gamers.
especially when they say things like CSS, Halflife, Diablo2 and other recent games are the best lol.
there are a lot of games that far surpass them. although everyone has thier opinions. but older games are far superior as they had better story lines and imersion.

and black heart wtf?? honestly. the creationists believe in a higher being that can not be comprehended, and your saying they cant comprehend the time scale. sorry but thats a bit wack. and every animal grows from an egg and sperm of some sort. its called the creation of life. its a cycle. not quick evoloution. the way in which they are born is different, external eggs or live born.
as with dogs, the only reason there are heaps of breeds is due to humans. lol cross breeding untill they get what they want, this is not evoloution just cross breeding. at least 70% of all dog breeds are cross breeds. which comes out with a new breed. if the givin combination has not been done before.
discoery - nat geo - animal planet all useful channells on sky, can learn a lot from them.

hehe yeah. ROTT played that. was kinda fun. a bit different though from the main stream FPS games of the day. the way the maps were set out and what not.

ah how many are there. i only know about 1-6 which i have on my comp. although they maybe the freeware/shareware versions, demos in other words. would like to get hold of full versions if they are not. hehe. brilliant though. get bored, play paddle wars on the watch/menu.

id have to agree that ELITE is the best game ever, for those who aint played it im sure if you search hard enough you can get emulators and the game,
Duke 3d. Everquest. Commander Keen series.
some that others may not have played.
MonteZuma's Revenge - old atari game. brilliant also available on atari emulators if you wanna look hard enough. when i played it, had to load it from a tape drive. hehe. but when it was loaded was great fun.
