Cheers. I missed that one. I knew about the flood but only thought it affected people heading there for sex change operations (apart from the millions of civs there). Been busy as with study. Even the old stock of Spinpoint F3s have been doubled in price. Just as well I grabbed my external when i did.

For the average consumer this translates into higher prices and IDC expects hard drive prices to go up by about 10 percent in Q4. However, as we reported yesterday, prices have shot up well beyond 10 percent.
I wonder if the impact was underestimated or it is a case of price gouging?
Btw, see how much that extra 0.1Mhz on the 2700k will cost you? CL have a pre order price up now.
have people noticed that HDD prices have doubled in the last few weeks? A WD 1TB Black was just over 100 bucks a few weeks ago but now they are well over $200 with a 2 per customer limit. It is the same at PB tech etc. Is it a new model or is there a HDD stock shortage or something?
Tevez? He is doing himself no favours. I wonder if he is all there? MUFC getting 20 million quid to get rid of him seems like damn good business in hindsight.
MUFC leaking goals in the CL. Sir Alex started the first 5 games with much the same players, the trouble seemed to start mostly when he started the squad rotation recently . I dunno about this De Gea character, he pulls off some amazing saves sometimes, then looks way out of his depth at other times.
Fergie didn't have a go about the ref not giving the penalty. Must be on a final warning from the FA. hehe.He did have a grumble about Crouch fouling etc though. Sir Alex
Lots of injuries at MUFC. Owen got another run. He looked sharp scoring in the League Cup but does not seem to quite be able to step up a level. I still think he has a chance of a high scoring season at Old Trafford. He used to be one of the best at breaking the offside trap back when he was wearing a different shade of red. His hamstring has held out for a few months now.
Feeling better now Spork? 4-1 is a decent result for a team that is going down, hehe.
I watched those Warriors in the league last night which was nearly as good as watching football. Great win from them.
I do, as I see it as Arsenal's chance to break their trophy drought.
Obviously even that depends on wtf we do in the EPL, because as it stands now, we look to be getting relegated! Heh.

I still think The League/Milk/Carling Cup is important. I remember when I was 12 Liverpool beat MUFC 2-1 in the 1982 League Cup Final. I had half the neighbourhood outside my window in Milton Keynes singing the score at me. It was an important trophy to the English back then and still is. The fixture congestion faced by clubs playing in four competitions forces them to use squad players in the Carling Cup these days which takes the shine off it a little, but it still often produces highly competitive and entertaining football. Judging by TV ratings in England for the cup's semi finals and final, the competition is as important to fans as it ever was.
Chin up Arsenal will not get relegated, it is only 5 matches into the season. If the league is as competitive as the last season all Arsenal have to do is stop losing and rack up a few points before xmas. The transfer window may allow them to draft in a few more players and try to reach the top four by May. Given the finacial situation at Arsenal is so tight because of the new stadium they can not afford to lose the money they get from playing in the Champoins league. Most of last season there was very few points between 5th place and 18th. I think they still can do it. They need money for players, not a new manager imo.
This is a photo of me, preceeded by a little pictorial whakapapa.
I am lucky enough to have pictures and photos of many of my ancestors and family going back several hundred years. Sadly, since the Italian revolution we no longer own originals of the older ones,
Has Spork lost his Spark? I have noticed a lack of passion in his posts of late
if it makes him feel any better, I can remind him that MUFC got hammered like that at Chelsea a few years back. It happens sometimes. I think the goobers will still compete for the top four this season. With all the past bad blood between Arsene and Sir Alex, SAF actually defended him in the press today and basically said the media wolf packs should back off.
Poor old Arsene Wenger looked like he was going to cry. Haha. I was annoyed that our full backs were getting caught out of position because that cost us a clean sheet, otherwise it was an awesome performance. Pity about Wellbeck busting his hamstring. I hope it does not plague him for the rest of his career.
However we do not bloody need less players available, stupid of him to put that tackle in.
managers should fine them a week's wages perhaps
see this football thread has 10 times more pages than the rugby one lolz. I do not mind rugby, just so many people who follow it tend to be such knuckledraggers about it and they often have a crap attitude towards football, especially when i first came here from england years ago before it got a bigger following here.
I did not mean in place of an SSD, I meant RAID 10 as well as a SSD. On another note, i was looking at the transfer rates of revo drives. fast as. pity they cost so much. must be an option to consider for any 'ultimate' or money no object system though
when you only have time for a quick ciggie before lecture and the roll your own sidetracks by burning only down one side, leaving you running back to classes with reduced nicotine satisfaction. i freaking hate that.
but i heard after they scored the goal they parked the bus
We can start saying "1-0 to the Arsenal" and "boring, boring Arsenal" again.
When I was a wee nipper my Greek step father and his family supported Arsenal and they played MUFC in the 1979 FA cup final. I picked United and supported them since. Liverpool used to win everything back then and I sometimes would get caught on my own by gangs of them who would kindly chase me down and give me a good kicking. Bastards! Where I grew up fans of teams other than Liverpool had to stick together to avoid trouble from them. It took until the 90s before MUFC took over at the top.
