mellcor i dident actually assume i was going to get admin, i dont know why i even said that.
scotty u said to me imm getting admin soon then i questions you and found out you had send ur redone admin app to the guy who wrote the admin app template so i explained to you he was not the correct person to send it 2, and then later you came on with the tag and questiond you about it and u said you were getting is soon again, dose this ring any bells, btw everything you say on the GetSome server is recorded, so yea, stop lieing through your teeth at every1 that tryed to help you. i know you were never gona get admin cos of your age, i even told you at suggested you post the moderator idea, but frankly i dont want to be nice to you anymore if this is how you treat people that try to help you was gona say have a good day but i realy dont care

also it did annoy me scotty that you assumed you were getting admin just cos you put an app in but as far as i know ur allowd to use the GetSome tag

Thanks for taking an active interest in wanting to help out and clean up the servers, and someone can correct me if I am wrong, but what you are requesting/asking for is just to be an admin pretty much. I would suggest you just fill in the admin application template (and can put it in this post) and get people that you know are active within the GetSome community to put in a good word for you and go from there. http://www.getsome.co.nz/showthread.php?85983-TF2-server-moderator-request

was on the GetSome trade server last night around 3am, and some1 was muted via console, the person as far as i could tell wasnt abusing the mic, so im just woundering is who has access to the console on the GetSome trade server

many people come to trade servers to get kills on their stranges or to kill in general as the skill level on trade servers is generally lower then average, as for y hackers come on idk why, maby cos pple on trade servers dont leave they just rage and complain

how dose idleing draw people to this server? i mean in witch way do we provide a better idling experience compared to other server?
why try to have a selling point such as "good server to idle on" when there are hundreds of other dedicated idle servers out there,
why not try to excel at a different aspect of trade servers that most seem to miss, the trading part

not quite sure if there is a format im supposed to follow for this but i would like to propose the GetSome TF2 trade (and aparently idle) server
have its the config concerning idlers and how long they remain on the server changed from 999999999 (were they can idle) to 30 (witch is half an hour i think)
i would like this change because idlers bring nothing to the server, all they do is take up slots that could be used by active players to trade, witch isnt the entire point of a
trade server, and when people know a server were they can find a large varity of traders they come back, they bring their friends and so on increasing
the popularity of the server and isnt that what we want? a popular server that everyone wants to be on
should this be reason enough, what if i got a number people from the server to sign up and voice their support would that convince you to make said change
(oh btw this is mostly directed at osiris but feel free to voice your support/opposition to my suggested change)

Look what happened to the last tf2 admin you said lets give a chance... i am aware that some preivious admins have abused their power and been idiots but i consider myself to be more rational than that. still want to know if ou are refering to me or is there another admin? because i stand by my actions however badly worded they may be

i say give him a chance, what is the worst that could happen?
if it dosnt work out remove it
i know many people that are young and are more mature then older players, and how is he suposed to get experience if no1 gives him a chance, also as for the comunity, well tell me when they have something of value to say in regards to the tf2 server, i would guess that 90% have never even been on it and of the 10% that have, it wasnt in the last 3 months

But and i do say but.. if the community doesn't know you or trust you (which is mainly due to forum presence) then your $#@!ed when it comes to anything.
because at the end of the day the trolls and other members on here speak much much louder than you do... NO MATTER WHAT.. i know from experience.... GetSome is not a kind teacher.
so not saying your wrong, but nobody in the community has a measure of your character if you are hidden all the time.
Respect is earned, not given just because you have admin written in front of your name.. it took many a bf3 argument to learn that one.
we should be reprimanded.. hmm interesting concept.. i was once so eager to ban everybody... doesnt work and you get no respect when there is nobody left on the forums and you are hated by everybody..
Its not the loudest voice or the voice that is heard most often that gets the most respect, its the voice that speaks wisdom when its required also as admin its not your job to be liked, its your job to keep the servers/forums tidy and free of scum, if people are openly saying that they hate you, then you are doing your job correctly

you cant throw heavy punches when your and unknown on the forums,
Ive always said as and admin you should have a presence on the forums, otherwise how the hell will you know whats banter and whats not.
buck up bronco and put as much time into the forums as your hat collecting in tf2. well as an observer you not doing a very good job at moderating this forum, otherwise there would be less comments on this post also there is such a thing as quality over quantity, quality being the thing sorely lacking here
