This game looks good, but Early Access ... ewwww.
What's the state of the game at the moment?
The game is the most fun I've had in awhile. However it is not optimized yet so you will have low fps no matter what system you have. For some this is game breaking but I DGAF. Gameplay over graphics. Is the server down? Can't find it in list
I'm having the same issue

Battlepacks are pretty gay.! I should be able to work towards attachments I want not rely on battlepacks.
I got 4 xp boosts for my gold battlepack at lvl 10. useless!

It looks as though a few teams are heading to this: http://nzgl.net.nz/events/wellington-lan/How competitive it will be who knows? a few guys from sila are going but more for the social side of things and to see MCCs booty collection. I'd personally enter any BF competitions and would be interested in watching Starcraft matches aswell as viewing any sort of merchandise booths as was at previous Xlans. (+ Demon babes)

Looks like I may need to upgrade from my 6950. Any recommendations?
I will most probably wait for the beta to come out and look at some benchmarks and buy the best I can with my money before the game is released.

It's looking great! I can't wait for this to come out. (still...) I'm disappointed it hasn't come sooner though as it now looks as though it will most likely clash with BF4

To be honest a really skilled pilot in BF3 can still dominate. At least that's what I've noticed from some servers lately. Especially with 3d spotting its almost impossible to hide. I imagine the skill gap between pilots is a lot smaller than previous BFs which would be frustrating for the expert pilots out there.
Snake was a decent BF2 pilot so I'll take his word for it tbh.

We can thank consoles for ruining battlefield tbh. It will never be the same as Battlefield 2 or previous BF games.
Everything much be easy to play to cater for all the nubs out there and this unfortunately rapes gameplay and any sort of decent competitive play.

It's 4 pages of bad publicity for the retailer now.
He did MCC a favour. You speak the truth. It certainly made for a good read and now it has all mostly backfired onto the retailer.

I hope they bring back Map statistics. They had it in BF2 ffs!
I'd like to know how much time i've spent on each map and also to identify the metro whores so I can rant at them!
