chat to origin support and say you want to try the beta before you preorder the game, you will get a key/added to your account

nzsupport@ea.comeasupport@8-bit.com.au That's really odd imo, considering you have not paid via a third party for an origin key etc. Maybe get a copy of your card statement to send to said support emails and see if they show any interest at all, they will probably send you back to the email you mentioned earlier however. If it's within the past 2 months that you got the game some banks would allow a chargeback. If you want to be really petty you probably could win at a disputes tribunal hearing with said proof (statements and emails) at your own cost (~$40 and your time)

I will purchase regardless, it is a beta after all and the majority of the bugs/performance issues won't be in the initial release. Think how solid the other 7 maps were in BF3 despite no public testing

I'm not having luck with it, might try deleting the settings contents later but since it's an acknowledged issue there's a potential they push a fix before beta ends so I can have a crack.

Also if you want to get around amazon's card restrictions you could just buy amazon gift cards, then apply that card credit to your account, then use that credit to purchase it.
No issues that way iirc, with a US address they will never check

I preordered via amazon July 22nd for $50.99 after a discount code was applied, with a US address. We'll see if they charge it successfully or not I guess.

DayZ has already been ported to Arma 3, although at the moment it's currently not what I would call 'decent' as it seems pretty much a straight drag and drop into the newer engine, has potential though. my point exactly, given we are still probably 2-3 months from an paid alpha it's likely some people will fix a decent amount of the current ports issues.

Whats the bet by the time this even reaches a paid alpha someone will have a decent dayz mod port for arma3 and people will stick to it.

We haven't been all that active since the Vodafone change over, things are in the air a bit, just waiting to see where they fall When bf4 comes out turn on FF for all the servers and have a admin presence like we had in bf2, the resulting drama will liven up the forums :friendly_wink: FF should have always been on for BF3 servers. Yes it's annoying but it got rid of halfwits quickly with an active admin team or tk kick count. Would love to see it for BF4 on all servers. End of Days, will you guys want a forum for BF4 or are we ready to say goodbye to GetSome/ICOONZ/Deluxe GetSome has needed the fat trimmed from it since it's inception. It's time to kill off CS(or downsize) etc and leave a TF2 and BF community, would also make it more attractive for a new hosting partner if it comes to that for space/cost(or even community paid hosting, if we can keep existing hardware). Can you let us know early if GetSome isn't negotiating for exclusive hosting of BF4 servers so others can get onto it?The other option is talking to egor at GP and retiring GetSome, not ideal (as they don't host many servers themselves these days) but in terms of surviving long term they have the contacts and userbase to do it.
