Forth and One and Saints don't go for the field goal. Balsy move that may not have paid off, but didn't backfire either. Good game thus far and only four points in it at half time.
As an aside, I switch between Sky Sport 2 and ESPN (both showing the game) and what a difference there is. ESPN is not in HD whereas Sky Sport Two is. I only got my HD TV a couple of weeks ago, instantly upgraded to MySkyHDi and man I love it.:rnr:

Colts to win. Calling that one a little early. they may be the favourites, but we'll do our bit to make a game of it.

Cheetah images are amazing. If you like Cheetahs (and who doesn't?), try and get someone to shout you a walk with them at the Auckland zoo. Totally worth it. I shouted my wife for her birthday as she loves all big cats. You get to pat them. Our one even purred (which surprised me as I was told none of the big cats do that. Either that or it started growling ). I took this one while there.

Tuatara, im not offering the Saints any kind of support, encouragement or remorse when they lose.
And lose to the Colts they shall :sunnies:. I shall offer the Saints all my support and encouragement and none to the Colts, nor will I show remorse if they lose to the Saints. In fact, I hope they :pyth: the Colts. (I've always wanted to find a way to use that smilie)And thus the balance is maintained

I just cant blame him fully for that loss, he took everything the Saints threw at him and got them into the place to begin with. Peterson, Harvin, Berrian all dropping balls killed, two in the Red Zone. Agreed. He did very well under the circumstances and quite frankly, his protection was pretty poor. It's like a goal keeper in soccer being blamed for a 4-0 loss when he pulled off some great saves but was let down by the defenders. Having said that, Saints have always had a very good defense. ...and the pass "interference" call that got the Saints in to field goal range especially I just watched the replay and I have to agree. That was a pretty tough call. Good luck Saints for the superbowl Thanks man.

Though tbh, whoever came up with the letter W was silly. Doesn't it stand for World Wide Web? Of course, if you are referring to the letter in general, yes, that is somewhat inexplicable.

"we did our due diligence" That is actually quite an important one and even using the phrase "best practice" is useful in the right setting. The other two I agree with. They are right up there with "I'll get my people to call your people and they can arrange for us to do lunch".

First time to the Superbowl :rnr: :rnr: :rnr:
That was not an easy game to watch. The Saints really pounded Favre and to his credit, he did a lot better than many others would have done in similar circumstances. I am a little concerned that Manning is a freaking good QB. He can read a defense so well it's spooky.
I feel bad for you Devil, and had the result been reversed, I would have stood behind the Vikings as well. Peterson reminded me of the Auckland Warriors, one minute fantastic, the next your sitting there with your jaw on the ground going "WTF?".

Book those tickets, the Colts are headed to Miami! At 17-7 I thought they would have to pull one out of the hat to get there.....and they did. Well done.

They obviously get into sport because rocket science isn't a career option. A shame really because Belgium has such a great space programme too. Just kidding, I know what you mean. On a related note, people who lengthen a word to make it sound more intellectual when all they end up with is a made up one. As an example - instead of saying "He was not easy to understand", they say "His incomprehensionability makes it difficult to understand his rationality". That really grinds my gears. However, it soon grinds theirs because I then push the matter to get them to explain what they just said and then point out that they just made up a word. My habit of doing that probably grinds their gears, but I don't care .

I wish Real or Barca would hurry the hell up and buy Rooney already. Real can have him, we don't want him. By "we", I mean Barcelona. I may like Liverpool, but Barcelone ranks higher on my pecking order and PSV Eindhoven at the very top.

Stablised the financial systems Not sure I can agree with you on that one. Yes, things stabilised, but there has been nothing to prevent things from spiralling out again. Just look at some of the bonusses being paid out again (Merryl Linch anyone?). 3 is a little tough, but only a little. I give him 4/10. You cannot blame the republicans as nobody was willing to blame the democrats when the roles were reversed.

AFC championship final between the Colts and the Jets will be broadcast on ESPN at 09:00 (NZ Time) on Monday Morning.( Go Jets, but only because I am concerned the Colts will beat the Saints at the Superbowl). NFC championship final between the Saints and the Vikings will be broadcast on Sky Sport 3 at 12:30 (NZ Time) on Monday afternoon - Go Saints (Obviously). Good thing I can work from home at times. So, if you have the sky sports package that includes these channels, no excuses (Like I did recently ).

also, sad news about Bears DE Gaines Adams Cardiac arrest at 26, that is indeed pretty sad. Just shows how much stress those guys put on their bodies. I saw an interview with a football player from the 50's or 60's (can't remember which or who it was) but he could barely walk without being in pain because of the hammering his body took when he was playing. Not unusual apparently.

Colts and Saints make it through to their respective divisional finals.
What annoys the hell out of me is ESPN show the colts game twice, but not the Saints. TV One news shows the results of te Colts game but don't even mention the Saints. It's blatant NFCism. Why does the AFC get all the publicity? And don't say "because all the good teams are in the AFC"....please. Even if it is the truth. I'm not sure I could handle it.

Yeah well the Cowboys haven't won a playoff game since '96. Well I hope they do win this one. Eagles frequently seem to be able to topple the Saints with alarming frequency. I would rather someone knocked them out before they got through to try to topple them again .
