Animal testing can be cruel, but so is the world in general. If those products weren't tested on animals, then there would be a lot of humans getting sick or injured from them. Does your family's wellbeing matter less to you than that of some rabbits or mice? I don't like that commercial one bit. I hope you're not going to go vegetarian next.

How could they afford all those advertisments and the printing costs for the books if they give the fitness books away for free? Is it full of advertisements or something?

Two attorneys boarded a flight out of Seattle. One sat in the window seat, the other sat in the middle seat. Just before take-off, a physician got on and took the aisle seat next to the two attorneys. The physician kicked off his shoes, wiggled his toes and was settling in when the attorney in the window seat said, "I think I'll get up and get a coke." "No problem," said the physician, "I'll get it for you." While he was gone, one of the attorneys picked up the physician's shoe and spat in it. When he returned with the coke, the other attorney said, "That looks good, I think I'll have one too." Again, the physician obligingly went to fetch it and while he was gone, the other attorney picked up the other shoe and spat in it. The Physician returned and they all sat back and enjoyed the flight. As the plane was landing, the Physician slipped his feet into his shoes and knew immediately what had happened. "How long must this go on?" he asked. "This fighting between our professions? This hatred? This animosity? This spitting in shoes and pissing in cokes?"

You can see someone trying to come in at the same time and pushing the wrong way on the door, but the way that the panels react still doesn't seem right to me. I can't figure out why the 2nd panel to the left of the departing guy suddenly goes anticlockwise. It shouldn't be affected by the person pushing the wrong way and even if it is, what makes it go anticlockwise so fast?

its quite interesting you say this. That new series caprica says the amount the brain can hold is crazy small, and its only the way that it stores and retrieves that information hich makes it seem big.
i thought this was wrong too... =| I read in a reputable book that the human brain can hold ~1.6 TB, which is a lot more than this holographic thing. rofl at the "No Asians" video :lolol:

The simple fact is there would be just as many motherfucking bastards in this world with or without religion. I don't think so. All religions have morals and ethics for their followers. Even if a religion is false, at least it encourages the people to be good honest citizens. Imagine all the trouble we would have in the world if people thought they could do anything they wanted without having to feel guilty and without the fear of future punishment for their actions. Society would have descended into anarchy and we'd be lucky to even reach the dark ages.

I disagree. If there is no evidence that X exists, all that proves is that we are currently unable to observe any evidence that X exists, not that X does not exist. While you could certainly argue (and I have) that there is no need for X to exist, it would be foolhardy to deny the possibility that advances in our observational capacity may allow us to observe previously unobservable phenomenon. Surely this whole line of thought was already discussed at the beginning of the thread and probably more than once. What makes this even more annoying is the fact that it's all just common sense. A lack of evidence that something exists proves nothing and is unhelpful. Only the presence of evidence that something does exist is helpful. Please stop talking about this stupid side issue.
