Closed Alpha is still under NDA, however I can say the game is really fun and the graphics are nice.
If you haven't already check out the dev blogs and video's.

Does anyone still play this? Have they fixed the CPU bottleneck yet?
Last time I played this it was laggy as heck because it didn't utilize the GPU as much as it should ie low fps.

I found a use for my RasPi. Excuse the mess of wires. It is working hard 24/7 28~32Mh/s @ 415 Watts at the wall.

I really hope that FB don't have ads randomly pop up on your screen etc, or having to be connected to a FB "realm" to use the oculus rift.  PS. Can't wait for my DK2 to arrive

When I saw the no dedicated server thing, plus AI in the game I decided I wouldn't even bother with the beta let alone buying the full game.
This is my general feel as well. Not sure why they've gone down this road.

First impressions: 60 fps but constant stutter and rubber banding. Lost the count how many times it's crashed so far.
Sniping is next to impossible with the stutter but hey, it's a beta.
no commander mode yet ;/
+ VOIP that works.

stand alone will be based on an "improved" arma 2 engine. If it was running off arma 3 engine it would be great.
