The thing that irked me the most was a common scenario I came across working in a camera store,

Rich bitch comes in with her brand new canon 400D, excalaims about how she's been around the world taking photos.

they're all blurred, underexposed, poorly composed, washy, shit.

Yeah my flatmate told me a similar story yesterday (he sells cameras for a living), they had some customer who called themself a 'professional', bought a 5dmk2 and didn't know how to use it properly...and produced fail. Sigh.

does anyone else get the feeling that digital photography gives the masses the ability to shoot statistically, rather than skillfully?

"if I take 300 photos of the same thing then chances are one of them will look good"

as opposed to

"I have 24 shots, better use them wisely."

and then a lot of people still manage to produce a whoooole heap of crap, unfortunately.

I've met him and I think its highly unlikely that he is a "hardcore" christian, and he has been regularly attacked by "hardcore" christians:

All good then, guess I was misled at some point

This dude reminds me of that Jack Thompson dude.

This guy is if I recall correctly, a somewhat hardcore christian...you'd think someone in his position would have to be religilously neutral.
