I slept through the whole fucking thing _p Everything is perfectly fine at our flat, we didn't even lose power or water, we're pretty lucky. Sucks for people whose houses are damaged. Although all things considered, it couldn't have been better timed. If it had happened midday on a weekday instead of 5am Saturday, there would be dozens of fatalities.
Oop another aftershock, been going on all day, pretty crazy.

At the Civic! Ry Cooder in Christchurch? How did I not know about this  One of the great understated legends of music. Have to get tickets somehow. Seems there is still tickets left for his show at the Town Hall. $60. Worth it and then some.

I cant help but think that the guys that do this seem so dam talented. But then you look at a screenshot from the movie and it looks more like tracing tbh.
There must be some kind of photoshop thing where you can reveal colour levels one at a time or something. Did you even watch it? These guy has crazy talent. Look at some of his other videos, he's got a good hand. His caricatures are pretty lol. And it's not a photoshop gimmick. He's just drawing, most likely uses a wacom tablet, and puts the effort in. And out come the results ^
