Hi iToons,
Unfortunately we had quite a few people abuse the custom sprays on the 1.6 servers, Given the limited number of players, we don't have much admin activity in the 1.6 servers to monitor this, so we made the decision to turn them off.
While we would love to turn them back on, we cannot justify subjecting our players to the possibility of more inappropriate (not even adult themed, just plain gross/brutal/disgusting) sprays that we don't have the admins to moderate, but we are happy to keep the servers running.

I guess the questions are - If we were to put up a css server..
1) Who are you going to play on it with? is there a group of you that want one to use? (to make it worthwhile us setting it up)
2) How would you want it to be set up? (map rotation, etc)

Thankfully our fancy automated systems kicked in and fixed the issue without any intervention from us, because computers that fix themselves are cool.

We don't even plaster you with ads, we just run everything, out of our own pocket, for people to use
So really, it's up to us if you can use it or not, just like it's up to your parents if you can have a friend stay over or not, because it is their house

When you spend your entire Sunday resolving a failed server issue, after an already hectic week (Between start of work Monday morning and Wednesday night I'd already worked over 40 hours).
Fuck this senior engineer shit for a lark I'm off to do something easy and mundane, like field test nuclear hand grenades. *grumble*
