This is in regards to the WatchON app Samsung give you to use the IR remote on the phone to operate your electronics. If you have the Vodafone TV box (old Telstra T-Box) and wanting to use the WatchOn app with this under setup boxes find the brand DTSv. This one works as Vodafone and Telstra codes do not.
lol my neighbour is a clown, we were getting our chickens eggs stolen so we setup a surveillance to catch them, which we did but we told our neighbour we were doing it..
Playing games isn't important. Having an affordable device that can deliver mobile access to the internet, video, GPS, twitter etc to the masses is pretty powerful stuff.
Ok bell, go out and buy the Vodafone 858 and use it for a week and then tell me that it's an awesome device that can do everything. I'd bet $100 you would have thrown it against the wall because of how frustrating it is to use, the screen size and processor in it makes even checking emails bad let alone trying to use it as a GPS device or web browser. xoxo
The functionality may be there on paper but usability is a joke and people want a phone that works well.
Best Android for price at the moment in NZ is the HTC desire X for $399. Go buy one today at your nearest Vodafone Store.
I'm assuming fair as in 6 people that just want cheap android phones will buy a $99 phone compared to one person that will buy a $599 Iphone for it's features (cheapest iphone on the market currently).
I agree, you can't compare how many Android phones sold vs Iphone because there is about 20 different manufacturers selling phones with Android on them ranging from $80 to $1000.....
Personally Android has a better OS but Iphone has better apps. For now....
That is some terrible logic. Its all around the wrong way.
The iOS is far superior to Android in terms of stability and responsiveness. The Google play store is far larger then the app store.
The iPhone 5 looks retarded however. No denying that. The screen aspect ratio is $#@!ed.
Na bro, Android way better, you can do more with it. At the end of the day its a menu structure with icons and with Android there is alot more customization and not to mention how open it is to access anything.....
There may be alot more apps on the play store but most of them are all rubbish compared to the Apple ones.
The Iphone still has a far better app store than the android, but in saying that the Android OS is better..... I still like the size of the iphone better than the s3, s3 too big to hold, iphone 5 you can still hold it nicely with one hand, fits well in pockets etc and the size of the screen is all you need.
Think I'd still go for the Iphone over Android only because of the App store and the size of the phone. If this phone was running Android with the Iphone App store it would be a match made in heaven
so probably mentioned in the previous pages but I do find it retarded that Vodafone has the distribution rights to the iphone 5 in NZ and wont let you buy one with signing up to a 2 year plan
gayness
Need to make money somehow... Why sell iPhones outright and only make a $20 profit...
Let's say you owned a franchise off Vodafone, you got in an allocation of 20 phones, you make $20 profit with an outright purchased compared to profit and percentage of ongoing plan cost from the customer that signs up to a plan. Who would you want to sell it to?
Obviously after the launch customer would be able to buy outright....
Did you have problems only accessing mobile sites outside wifi to spacemonkey? That setting is a bit o a joke, after you change the setting you have to turn off your phone, take the sim out for 2 minutes and then reboot for the setting to be changed 0_o
Yer the bad thing with windows is you are limited in what you can do however it is really easy to use and yes the software looks and feels pretty sexy. I still prefer the Android and Apple touch keyboard.
