So TVNZ have released their iPad/iPhone app today and in usual apple fashion I have found it to be hit and miss. Any other apple goers had success on playing any content yet? Iphone 4S running 6.2 no luck and iPad 1 running 5.1.1 no luck either.

TVNZ shit has always been rubbish.

The ON Demand website is still in beta mode, the PS3 app runs like a bent shopping trolley so it comes as no surprise that the iOS app is just as shit.

So got a personal email from a dev at TVNZ and he has told me that their app has been designed to not work on Jailbroken devices. Seems a bit backwards as I haven't seen any app do that before. Guess I'll just have it on my stock iPad

His response "Unfortunately, due to rights agreements with the companies we license content from, we are unable to support jailbroken devices.

Anyone able to possibly 'alter' the app for us jailbroken folk?

^This, I normally would pirate TV shows on the DLNA server and stream them but ATM it is hard to find up.to links.
