So what do we think? Just curious to get the musings of people in regards to both the phones/specs/build and the OS they will be using.

If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes should fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Windows Phone 7 was brilliant and smooth. However I couldn't get over the fact that so much screen real estate was wasted in teh apps screen with just one single line of apps displaying at one time - causing you to forever scroll if you had a lot of shit installed.
Those photos make it look like that WinPho8 is making better use of space.
I think Microsoft have learnt that users, well at least a lot of them, do actually want to be flooded with consumable information rather than preventing any sort of overwhelming reaction to it.

I am rather curious.
Would like to have a play with the 920. Looks rather thick and heavy compared to the Ativ S and my current S3. I love how thin and light the S3 is. Makes it both a joy to use as well as carry.
Wouldn't mind a change in OS. The more you know and all that. Don't get me wrong however, Jellybean is very cool. And it wouldn't be change due to not liking Jellybean or thinking its rubbish, more just curious as to which UI is ultimatly better for me/the user.

Went Win7 for a while.
Gets boring pretty quick. Wasn't much of a hacking community, so you get far less customization than iOS or Android.
Though, perfect phone for people who just want a 'phone'. It's gotta be the most sexy OS.

Well my company has finally ditched Blackberry and gone to Win 8 phones. My Blackberry has been replaced with a Nokia Lumia 520.
Last time I had a windows phone was probably 2008 and I hated the thing was the worst thing ever. Ended up with Android (personal phone) loved it of course. Started my new job and was told I had to have a Blackberry I resisted for months but in the end I had to relent. Absolutley hated the damn thing but after 2 yrs despite the screen limitations it wasn't too bad for business applications.
And now I'm forced back to windows........windows 8. Now after reviews I had seen for Windows 8 I expected the worst. Have been using the phone past few days and to my amazement it was fairly simple to use (deep down I would prefer Android).
Any recommended apps for Win 8?
