Now that the holidays are in full swing, things have been getting busier on the servers. All of our servers have been very active, it is a great sight to see.
When it comes to trading, it appears that we still have a few people that are new to trading or un aware of general item prices when trading. This leads to scamming, reporting and general, he said-she said issues. While we like to see the new players trading, we also try our best to point them in the right direction.
When you want to know a price for an item, we like to use backpack.tf's price check system, !pc. These prices are as up to date as they can be, but they are still advised prices. sometimes people want overpay, sometimes they want less for an item, just to get rid of it. Use the pricecheck to get an estimate on what you would be looking for. This way there can be less complaint and accusations when it comes to someone trying to rip you off.
REMEMBER, if you don't like the deal, press cancel trade. no one is forcing you to press the button.
Also on the trading note. If you trade with a user, and complete the trade. Thats it! There is no refund, no asking for your items back, NO NOTHING!
Trading is at your own risk, as you tick a box and confirm the trade. If you are playing a game during a trade, be aware of what you are doing. It is your fault for going through with it!
Now you may of noticed, we have a third Trade server. This is due to the heavy use of the Trade1 server. We needed an overflow and the minecraft server is not suitable, so we put another up. Put it to use!! Currently it is running the new alpha version of GetSome Trade. A new map that is currently being made. Say thanks to vitamin carrot for his efforts. He has put in a lot of effort in the last couple of weeks to push the alpha version out for christmas.
I have also turned the 24/7 #3 server into Fun #3 tf2ware. This mod has been remade and some extra microgames added to it. Its really fun and quite full on for those that like a slower paced game. Give it a shot!
I have also altered the names of some of our servers, in an attempt to make it a lot tidier and more understandable. These are mainly the Fun servers.
Our promotions before christmas time went very well.
The Task Manager winner taking away an unusual item and 2 keys. The winner was raydiense. Second place was Jarrey, and third was Cmuir. Congrats to these guys. and also thanks to all of you who participated in the promotion. For those that completed 15+ tasks, they also get a bonus item.
In Jan, there will be another promotion announced, so keep your eyes peeled for that one.

Numbers are slightly down on last month, an update has just come out so in general we expect the numbers to climb back up again. But still holding steady.
At the end of the newsletter I like to speak admins.
As we have had some inactive admins, we have decided to let a couple go and recruit a couple more to replace them. Please welcome Dooby, Raydiense and Lil' Turtle. These guys have been regulars on our servers for quite some time.
We are also going to be adding a few to our new VIP team, they will be able to help us out when it comes to the busy periods of the day. Please do not ask how to get VIP or try to bribe admins for it. We will be hand picking these people. Not all regulars get a shoe in.
