EDIT
Photos to come, It won't let me upload for some reason, I guess it's because I am on mobile.
Uploads only work on 4G mobile service, is there a reason for that?

They look really good :)
I'm thinking about doing an apprenticeship next year if I don't get into uni.
Any way I have finished the table I was making, Its still in the shed ATM so the lighting is shit. Photo's really don't do justice to the grain in the wood.

Edit-
Again I am having trouble uploading photos... Fixed

Tables

That's nice too. I'm really jealous of people with practical skills. Like being able to measure.

That's more a hobby, but I'm pretty sure if he had the chance to go professional he would ;-P

This might sound like some generic motivational bullshit but you will be surprised what you can do when it comes to manual arts. The table is so much better then what I thought it would be. (In all honesty. I'm not bosting) It started out as something really simple that I was going to do over a weekend, but when I was working on It I came up with new ideas that turned the table into something that could probably be sold for upward of $3000.

My advice to you is to go buy some timber and if you don't have the tools go to a men's shed with a workshop. Start off with something simple and go from there.

For me personally this kind of stuff is the most rewarding thing you can do. You start from scratch and end up with something you can use. It really makes you have pride in your work and appreciate the skills it takes to make quality products.

Semi buzzed wine fueled ramblings over.

I was walking around in national park and found me a set of horns. They are old and deteriated but I thought I'd have  go at polishing them up. They should look good on my wall.
Pics to come
