Banned from Get Some TTT server and I don't understand why.

Hey all! This was quite a while ago but as i have gotten a microphone recently i decided to finally address my ban, I am, or was, a regular of the Trouble in Terrorist Town server on Garry's Mod, I was never the most mature or most serious person and I understand that, but I still don't have answers on why I got banned. I asked an admin if they could find out why i had been banned and apparently it had something to do with sexual content, I believe one time i discussed porn in that time period but it was a joke and nothing more, I can understand getting complaints toward my personality but I don't see why I was banned, and I still don't find it fair. Personally I don't see a problem with having adult discussions online with friends, and I shouldn't have to be afraid of getting permanently banned for having banter with my mates. Personally all I want is a specific reason why I got banned and for an appeal, as I don't find it very fair.

Hi Brants,

We dont have a problem with banter but when you are playing a server hosted by a communications company there are rules that have to be up held and seeing as most of the Garrys mod community is young its a serious problem when you share links and talk about porn (sometimes in a aggressive manor). if someone was to complain like a concerned parent it could mean problems.

I have an alt account that I use to keep the "regulars" in check as sometimes they abuse the rules offline, we all like to have fun but some go on a rampage. I witnessed multiple times you type over sexual things in chat and you had been warned about it. I will leave the thread open for anyone to have there say. please no silly comments

I like you brants you are funny in the server but the porn talk is over the top and quite serious.

Having adult discussions online with friends is fine. Having them about R18 adult content on our GMOD servers, that are primarily frequented by 12-16 year old children at best makes you seriously misguided, and at worst makes you a pedo trying to groom them.

Get a Team Speak channel or Mumble or Vent, get some mates who are a similar age - talk trash with them, not in the games global chat.
