"My paper introduces a new mathematical model that we can use to derive new details about the properties of a quantum state as it travels through the Big Bounce, which replaces the classical idea of a Big Bang as the beginning of our universe," said Martin Bojowald, assistant professor of physics at Penn State.
science must be superior to faith, since they use mathes instead of a book :ohplease:
A guy called SheepShagger telling you to go to the Shed to drink and watch a game of rugby. This is New Zealand
Is it really so hard for science to say "we don't know what was before the big bang and we may never know"?
science must be superior to faith, since they use mathes instead of a book
As for the "religious" aspect (which will undoubtedly come up)
As for the "religious" aspect (which will undoubtedly come up), thats the thing I especially love - science must be superior to faith, since they use mathes instead of a book :ohplease:
Isaiah 11:12 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.Revelation 7:11 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
"He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved. (Psalm 104:5)"
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something more bizarrely inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
hmm you believe in a old book instead of maths & science huh?. lets start with the bibles description that the earth is flat!dont forget the earth can never move!So either you still believe the earth is flat or you believe science and math. Since you stated above you believe the bible, you obviously think the earth is flat?Maths & Science: 1Bible: -3
Come on dude, literal translations demean what could have been an intelligent answer.
Isaiah 11:12 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.
In retrospect, I should've not said anything - obviously, as a Christian, my opinion is not at all welcome in the realm of science.
now your getting it. keep it to the religion vs science thread but when real science is being talked about such as bergs galaxy thread dont come in saying god did it
Seriously, its hard for me to take these kind of articles at face value and accept them, when their discoveries are based on new theories or new mathematical models, that revise the beliefs of the old theories and mathematical models (and they didn't prove anything either; its all conjecture and theory). Is it really so hard for science to say "we don't know what was before the big bang and we may never know"?As for the "religious" aspect (which will undoubtedly come up), thats the thing I especially love - science must be superior to faith, since they use mathes instead of a book :ohplease:
our earth is set into place and cannot be moved. Its all in the interpretation eh.
actually the earth isn't set into a "place" it might orbit etc but slowly we are moving out of our line.
The 10 commandments were meant to be taken literally but some the books in the bible deal with the esoteric so you take the meaning as you perceive it.
