He is helping him too!  He hasn't died during training has he?  no~~ .  Anyways, we all have our low periods but one thing i found... the lower you get in life the closer you get to God because you draw on him to give you strength.   I think i can see your friend drawing on Gods strength to get him through this period in his life.

a quote i just remembered is when you are down to nothing, God is up to something.  In which case i can see things working out well for him into the future.  Oh man i've had some really bad periods where i was ruining everything at those Kingsland aparment i was wiring up.  Day after day i'd screw everything up.  The foreman there kept threatening me with my job.  So i prayed about it and as soon as i finished the BIG boss called.  Ofcourse i was scared stiff because i thought i was going to be fired.  But he rang me up to tell me im working with some other guys at the Nelson street apartments!  So i was like OH YEAH~~~  AWAY FROM THAT GUMBO!

After that everything worked out really well and i start lovign the job and the people i was working with.  I ended up at Empire aparments next and i had floors to myself that i had to look after and i was left to prewire entire floors by myself where as in kingsland i was just left to do Cat wire and crap and wasn't trusted to do anything right.  a first year apprentice with so much responsibility.  A Cool feeling.

So i think he'll get to a good spot sooner or later.  He just to keep on keepin on and stay strong in his faith and pray!
