Atheist writer Richard Dawkins wants criminal case vs. Pope Benedict XVI for sex abuse scandal

Pope Benedict XVI could meet with more than the faithful during an upcoming trip to England - he may face criminal charges.

Richard Dawkins, a scientist who promotes atheism and evolution, is working with author Christopher Hitchens to hold the Pope accountable for the child sex abuse scandal that has rocked the Catholic Church to it core, London's Sunday Times reported on Sunday.

Allegations have reached as high as Benedict himself in recent months that he and others hid and often times protected priests accused of molesting children.

The two men are hoping the Pope will be arrested using the same legal maneuver that allowed England to hold the late Chilean dictator, Augusto Pinochet, in 1998.

This is good news. There is a major need for the sweeping out of the 'cobwebs' and corruption that is the Catholic Church and as the 'spearhead' of Christianity, globally, I am hoping that this institution will be shaken apart.

Unfortunately, due to power politics, corruption, blatant disregard for decency, I feel the Catholics will be unscathed and continue their appropriated Egyptian Sun God worship.

The reason I used a simple example should be obvious: It doesnt work both ways. Permit me to demonstrate

If I throw a miracle and hit a rock, either:

Miracles are supernatural. Rocks arent. Its not a case of overlapping magesteria, it is a case of one occurring and one 'occurring but not in any explainable way'. Kind of like Lady GaGa's popularity.

Once you start loading a god down with some supernatural luggage, cracks start to appear. Claiming it is not backwards compatible with reality is the general plot insulation spray for that argument.

The point is, you don't read the bible so you don't have a clue what God or us trying to say. Its true, the bible does not contradict with history or TRUE science.
