Thats got to be one of the best Simpsons moments ever. The bit you speak of is in there, they just cut some other crap in between it. (it's close to the end)
For those that don't read slashdot.org...http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/08/070814150630.htmSo, inorganic substances can display the same qualities as life, reproducing, evolving, etc. Is this the origin of life on Earth?Lets here from the creationists...
Interesting theory. Does that mean the dust in my house is reproducing?

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

What you talkin bout Willis? If you replace the Casino with Life and the players with people then you come to realize: Life isnt about choosing, its about their being Choices. Although Nietzsche deny's the idea of free will the fact of the matter is: People still play IN the Casino, it just doesnt matter what they play.It is the being there that influences the events, not the activity therein:If you would like to investigate the idea further I suggest you learn about the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Paradox
How can you say being there is more important than the actions you take, your actions will normally shape the out come more than the location. Yes sure if your in Iraq the location will have a very strong influence, but even in the worst of locations/situations there is still normally a better decision to make. Once again this is another example of limited and extreme thinking. Why does it have to be either ffee or fixed, why cant it be a mixture of both?
