Electron micrsocope images are pretty darn cool.  Try these on for size though.  First atomic force microscopy of pentacene:

Look pretty much looks like a text book representation of the molecule except I don't see any C's or H's at each corner :D

And then recently imaging of the electron cloud around a carbon atom, again pretty much like a textbook representation.
