I've got teh 8800 gts, still on my 7900 just re-applied thermal gunk etc for re-sale, seems to work smoothly

lol thats because intel is generally better....more work clock for clocker more cache and more overclocking.

You could steal this E4300 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Components/CPUs/Intel/auction-167569124.htm which is what I own or Hans E8200 for $200

but for a good well priced PSU the Corsair TX 650W is $160 bucks dunno how much power you'll need tho.
