I took my PC down to local so they could see what the problem was, I told them I think I failed with the mobo spacers, and surely enough I did. They said they'll find some and I'll be lucky if the board still works :/ ah well it's warranted.

No. It's not under warranty for negligence aka stupidity. It is usually easy to tell if the motherboard has shorted and a motherboard doesn't just short by itself. Hence there is not a lot of options that the vendor can consider when a customer comes back with a shorted board apart from it being brought on by the user.

Warranties don't cover installations botched by the user, and you are going to have a hard time trying to prove that your motherboard shorted by itself.

sli with two 320's? Me and Azure had a lot of issues trying to get it to work correctly a few months ago. He ended up with lower performance :S

Heat related in the end. So face a 80/120mm fan onto the sides or back of the cards to force the hot air out and it should be ok

Want to buy my 320? replaced the thermal grease with arctic silver dropped its temps about 8-10 and its an o/c virgin

I rung up this PC store just before to ask when they are getting the 4870x2 in and the guy went crazy at me, was hilarious.
