is that at 2.4 ghz?

meh the thing pissing me off is my idle temps are great 26-30ish(3 ghz/stock voltage) but load just go's upto to 50-55 and the intel thermal spec is meant to be 61 :/ I'm considering lapping my cpu as well.

mmm, I cleaned my cables up today, added fan in HDD bay......added fan ontop of dvd drive, and another exhaust and no drop in cpu temps :(

lol I'm using 7 atm, yeh that fucks me off!! I touch mine and it feels cold when temp reading is 50 even the air only feels warmish, my cooler is lapped was a bit paranoid about doing my chip. Might lap it when I RMA my board(cold solder or bad circuit trace, always needs to heat up before boot :( )
