lol I just try to clean up the cables a bit more, got that IDE out of the way but obviously not plugged in properly -_-, I've pretty much done the best I can without dismantling my case.

whats the point in buying a sata dvd drive when I only use it on the very odd ocassion and it does the job fine?

Because you're complaining about your IDE cable? Seriously, i had the exact same problem as you with my IDE cable being in the way of things and being extremely ugly! I just went out and bought a $30 sata dvd rom drive. I'm sure you know that it takes all of 2 minutes to swap a drive.. or even less to keep the old one in and just install the second as well.

lol still not worth it, managed to route it around the side of my case but now dvd isnt working :P will have to route a new ribbon.
