Or maybe it still sucks. CoreTemp ftw man. Even minimizes to your try and shows the temps of both cores in real time.

Everest ultimate is pretty accurate afaik, my cpu is idling hot lately too :(

the over all total cpu temp is what matters, not per core (IMO anyway)

The overall temp is what matters, and seeing what temp each core is running at to produce to total CPU temp is essential.
