I hope you not one of those 'electronic music elites' out there that listens to all the gritty type of electronic music because it's 'darker' and 'harder'.
Electronic music should never be fun sounding ever!. Or maybe it's the 'indie' aka 'it's popular so it must be bad' line of thinking. But hey... I could be way off track.
Hardstyle is to electronic music like death or heavy metal is to rock and carries the same type of attitudes from their fans which I've seen and heard far too much.

Hahaha, I know the type all too well, I always get shit from them for listening to the Metal core genre, god forbid I like to listen to people with instrumental skill

I really like fun sounding electronic music, apart from Daft punk and Justice which I like for their fun simplicity, I also like Pendulum and the Presets, some good Aussy electronic music.

I'll always be metal at the center of my musical interest but I like to branch out into other genres to avoid burning out on any single one.
