Apparently Trail of Dead are very loud - as in, over-loud for the venue size.
A mate of mine went to the Bodega show and said it was pretty good though.

Right now, I'm listening to:

Organized Konfusion - Prisoners of War

Oh we are not worthy of your flow and lyrical awesomeness. We are not worthy. One of the most deadly exponents of metaphors and similes ever. Lyrics here: http://www.lyricsdownload.com/organized-konfusion-prisoners-of-war-lyrics.html. This album is from their first self titled album, one of the best rap albums of all time IMO. iPod supports Apple Lossless. Transcode FLAC to Apple Lossless. Done. As both are lossless codecs, transcoding it won't lose any quality of the file. That said, I personally don't see the point of lossless on a portable setup as the fidelity of portable setups = can get no way near a decent home setup thus you being able to tell the difference between lossless and high bitrate lossy = much slimmer. High bitrate AAC will do nicely for iPods.

Anyway

Prodigy - Firestarter

Yay for detailed, layered bass with my headphones. Much rather have that than loud boomy one-note action that everyone loves
