Very cool Growler.
What are you shooting with atm?
Still my trustsy old 12mp D90, that was my 8mm sigma wide open, hand managed, every exposure was a click cos the wireless remote was being a cunt.
ISO 50, 30-sec, f4, 8mm.

nice Swindle ... try adding a lil yellow in ( just a fraction) to bring the temp of the photo up

Cheers dude.
Was an intentional bleach bypass to give it the de-saturated look. Better contrast for the bubbles against the trees

one way to do it is to reduce the vibrancy then use the saturation to add colour then if you shoot in RAW add clarity to the bubbles by using the adjustment brush (shortcut key is K)
from there you can adjust the exposure, clarity, saturation and contrast of specific areas of the photo (reduced clarity will make the portrait soft focused where as the bubbles you can keep the crispness

i need to come up with a better system for taking photos - the vibrations do make it hard to get steady pics

have got a bit more work to do on these but its a start (need to move the flower behind the drop closer/further to get it in perfect focus of the drop)

Are you cropping the images?
Perhaps take the picture from further away to stop so much distortion and crop it?

what fstop bro.... try higher to get a slightly larger dof, but in turn will need to crank that flash up.... catch 22..., do you have enough time to bracket?

the first one is cropped the second isnt and nah not really enough time to bracket hard enough to manual focus and the further back you shoot from and then crop reduces image clarity causes difraction esp from driving up the fstop past 9 (as what the last image was shot at 8 i think).
The flash i can drive up but it causes more problems that it solves i can move a lil in pp its really just a matter of finding the optimum lens position and getting the droplet when its at the stage just before it drops and its at the most cylindrical it can be ...... time is the solution
