So shooting in raw is incredible. There are a lot of cool changes you can make in post.

The top pictures horizon is pretty far off.

I really like the second one, looks good with the clouds rolling in off the right side.

You definitely upload them in large enough sizes.

Clouds in Hawaii are AMASSING.

They form pretty much only over land, and what land there is are tall mountains, so the rolling effect is even more accentuated.

I really need to work out how to sort this horizon stuff, that first one, and a LOT that I have done, tend to end up totally on the piss.

Large upload size is because I am awesome. I have also recently upgraded my net, so have faster upload and am all over that bitch like white on rice.

Yeah, its more me than anything else, as I fail to pay attention when taking the photo/s.

Camera has a built in level, but it only shows on the rear screen and there is no viewing mode to make it show on the viewfinder (its an A65 so is digital'n'shit).

i thought the a65/77 had a level in the eyepiece too, sure you haven't overlooked it in options?

You got me excited so I had a look, but no, no option for it. Display in the eyepiece only changes between histogram on/off and a slider showing fstop and shutter speed.

Or set the grid lines for the viewfinder/lcd.

Yes I have that on. I don't know how I manage to stuff it up. Meh.

Pisa looks cool, but seems like an empty town until you get to the tower, then suddenly people everywhere.

Yes it was about empty at the time of photos, 9am and walking into town as our hotel was on the outskirts.
The old historic buildings and alleyways with hidden pizzeria's etc was different
