Its a .arw file, which is sony's awesome raw format thingee. The one I posted doesnt have any editing, I kind of prefer it that way.

wow.... im impressed with the detail from that sensor MCC! If you get some nice glass on there it will make some stunning images! The detail in the water, clouds and sun is superb!

They are $1085 on digitalrev. I think for 600-700 id buy it, but 800 is just that little bit too much.

Tokina 11-16 2.8 then. Im kicking myself for not getting it when it was on sale %50

I already have a Tamron 11-18 f4.5-5.6, so I don't really want to double up on another wide lens. Something starting at 16 or 18 and going to 50 or 70 with f2.8 is what I am really after. With what I shoot it seems like the best/most versatile option.

But that is only canon and nikon mounts.

Sony glass is more expensive because they are less common. Was tempted to swap to a canon or nikon because the lenses are more common and cheaper. But I like my sony.
