Just had a rainy spell, good light for up close photography. So many bees in our back yard, makes for good pictures. Though I think you guys might be sick of bees so this is the last two I promise. Not much else in our garden though.

I think I love bumble bees, though. The lens of my camera must have been not 2 inches from that top fella' and he completely ignored me. Unfortunately they never keep still long enough to get the exposure right.
On the plus side, more photoshop experience for me.

Can you set up any presets on your camera, why not make up a preset  with AEB so you shoot 3 photos at once with 3 diff exposures. Do it at a nice speed like 800+ and then try some diff brackets for shooting, 0 +0.5 & +1.

Just a thought, would cover your bases with photography like that, if camera is fast enough it's under 1 second of photos for all of em.

I did also think the douche thing was a bit OTT, but then putting your name on photos is a bit douche-baggery, so I did not say a word.

I love dragster bikes, used to have a couple but left them down at the family beach house for a few summers and they rusted away.

Tell them you want a Canon 1000D or a 500D (preferably a 500D).

Figure out what sort of photography you mainly want to do and then research the cameras, all of them excel at differnt things.

I was all set to blow money on a D90 then after alot more research found out a lesser value camera did a much better job at what i wanted to focus on.

there are ALOT of good cameras out there not made by canon and nikon that are just as good, if not better.
