Got a Swan Plant last weekend and it came with a free caterpillar! We called him Jorge (Hor-Hey). We noticed he has started to setup shop today, so I grabbed the missus camera.

If I remember, I hope to take a photo everyday.

But yea, awesome photos now that I can see them.

that 17 lens getting good reviews deviant, hows the VR/SR on it.

I'm getign a 90 to trial for a bit tomorrow, then if fits what I want will go grab one, that same lens you got has perked my ears up too, since I already have a 28-80 and 70-300, the 18-105 doesnt hold me much, and the low F on the 17 is so nice.

Haven't really had a chance to test it out fully yet. only taken a few shots in doors. But with a steady hand i can get crisp pics at 1/10 shutter with VR on. Reviews say it performs better in daylight which i have yet to test. I have to work out my D90 fully as well haha. makes me feel noob going from a D60.

I know the non-VR version takes a better picture at high aperture but i decided on the VR version for low light/shutter situations.

nice mate, where from, what lenses, how much, did they throw in extras? Where are you?

Deviant, did your Tamron come with a hood, and did the 90 come with a 2gb card in the box?

i bought everything separately, cam bodys don't come with anything but one battery (and the obvious extras) i don't think.

the tamron comes with a hood yes. i bought the D90 body, Tamron 17-50 VR, Extra battery, 4GB class 6 card for 2.3k.
