On the D90, and im sure on some other cameras, you can force it to put 'stars' on all light sources in photos, works well at night sometimes....

Much much much closer focusing with macro.... The image below, the spider is about 10mm wide from outside leg to outside leg.

On your pic there, you would probably get a whole dash up to readable size....

shot with my new f3.5-5.6 28-80 tamron lens @ 10sec exposure @ f14 iso 400 -1exp bias with an 58mm ND8 filter at Maori bay on sunday at 5.30 am :P

Some nice photos going on there Luke, thanks for posting another weta photo too guys. If you get any cool photos of unique NZ animals please post them up ;p

Things like geckos, peripatus, huhu beetle....tried to get a nice photo of one crawling on my face last time in NZ, but thing was diabolical!!! One of those really colourful NZ galaxids fish adults that whitebait mature into. You see them in many streams around NZ, come in blues, reds, greens, 10cm ish at most, very pretty. Some of the stuff living in rockpools around the coast ;p

Korea doesn't have much in the way of ocean or terrestrial life...find it a bit saddening.

Not particularly pretty or well shot (automatic without a tripod) but this is some guys Christmas lights in Woodenvile, Seattle. He had this whole setup controlled by some software. It was all going off to the tune of music.
