I can't believe the detail of this photo, I mean my hat is not dirty at all, but it looks like I just pulled it out of a vacuum cleaner bag.

your fstop is what is making it dark 27 say vs 5.6  5.6 will let in way more light and give you a shallower DoF.

Just a quicky from the 50mm/1.8

This was minimum focus length (45cm) which is why it's not very sharp on the edges when wide open. The Depth of field is so short, im picking about 30mm. These are coasters.

Beautiful colour and clarity, sharp as a needle in the middle, soft on the edges, but that would dissapear shooting at 2.4/2.8 etc. Love the bokeh these lenses give!

Doing a heap of work at a concert in the weekend. Will post up some pics after.
