A couple of night shots (I like taking night shots) of the place my wife and I have been staying in. the night lighting was quite eerie on the river.

Been taking a number of shots, but most of thwe good ones are in Nikon RAW format and I don't have that set up on this laptop so I'll have to wait till I get home. Also have done some with HDR in mind. Looking forward to see how I went.

That is a sweet weird photo Tuatara.

i look a photo with the florescent on the right the left and under the chin of the teddy and blended them in photoshop. Giving me an effect of actually having a flash and fill light in a softbox. the technique, i will use to a larger extent on a bigger subject to fully light something that would be impossible otherwise. It's gonna be awesome!

a fill light is basically for eliminating shadows created by the main light or flash. a softbox is just like putting some baking paper over it to disperse the light even more. creating even softer shadows

what are you talking about? it's a style.

it has a filter on it that makes it a little more illustrative.

this is the finished product without the filter. As i say it's a photographic style and gives the subject an HDR look.

when i post something like a car up with this technique you'll say wow cool not, that car looks fake :/ whatever that means!

You missed the main point, how did you spend 12 hours on it?

Unless you have an extremely slow computer or you don't have a lot of experience with Photoshop.

you obviouisly don't know how the photo was taken,

i took 8-10 photographs with different areas lit and blended them with my 5 years photoshop experience.

it's good work, wouldn't really call that an HDR look though o.O

unless photography HDR = completely different thing from 3D HDR
