HDR in SLR is all about dynamic ranges and depth of shadows, detail in hilites and incredible colour ranges.

** True HDR in photography is a photo taken with 3+ photos more the better but subject dependant. Camera mounted on a tripod, take phots at various EV say -2, -1.5,-1 etc through to +2 so you have a series of photsd of the same objest with all differnt colour and tonal balance. They get blended together to make 1 magical photo. The end results can be stunning, almost surreal.

HDR and long exposure photography are the 2 things that are making me itch to get all my SLR gear up to date again!

bit dissapointed by the focus, but clearly some nice green kiwifruit leaves are more more important to have in focus in what is an 80% green photo than the sodding great red motorcycle...that'll teach me for trusting a silly digital.
