Well the 15th of october is a big day for Liverpool. We will see if RBS take liverpool of the yanks hands and look for new owners

It seems the fans and the players want them out. This would be great if we could get some decent investment before the January transfer window

the yanks are running the club into the ground just like Leeds United

heres hoping for the best

as much as i dislike Liverpool, i dont like to see this happen to a club

Man U could be the same way in a few years with the Glaziers..

heres hoping someone takes over who actually gives a fuck about the club eh

Is there anything behind this Giggs thing? I never knew it was even on the cards. Could be interesting.

A few of the usual tabloids saying that Giggs wants to take over from Fergie once he steps down.

No idea if there is anything behind it, and well my only sources are TheSun and Goal.com so...

i wouldnt be surprised

Ole Solskjaer is already the reserve team coach, they tend to keep long serving players round in some respect, im sure they would keep Giggs around

Boston Red Sox owners, shame, i follow the red sox......

I can say that they are run well by their current owners after many years of not being run well.....so maybe that bodes well for Scouse FC?

yeah hopefully

I was sceptical about having more americans running the club but from what I have RED they seem to have a good relationship with their fans in boston

its a start

better than those other two tossers

Glaziers need to go next lol

yeah i would like that tbh, i dont like seeing teams penalized for their owners, teams that overspend what they have (ie leeds, portsmouth) i dont have as MUCH sympathy for......

well leeds is leeds, and i do hate leeds:)

heres hoping it gets things back on track, Man U v Liverpool is still an awesome fixture, so would be good to see it continue for many years

yeah tell me about it

I love the the Man U v Liverpool battle

it began before all this big spending bullshit came along

just two teams that hate eachother and have no better joy than getting one up on the other

as much as I despise Man U i would never want them out of the top flite

Thats exactly it, you stay up to watch the game, and you like nothing better than beating them and having bragging rights for the next time

My old man supports Liverpool so gives us some good topics of conversation;)

Man U v Liverpool, v Arsenal, v Man C, all big big games for many years....

tho having said all that, if ManC were to accidentally to the championship, i wouldnt mind THAT _b

only reason i didnt include chelsea in my list of big big games is that Chelsea have only become as strong as they are over the last 5-10 years, before that they were maybe Tottenham strength, i remember the days of Zola, Di Matteo, Vialli etc tho (note no english names COUGH :D)

Blackpool used to be awesome back in the 50's too, look it up;)

It doesn't matter anyone, you will all have to build new stadiums eventually, and you will all be fucked when that happens, and THEN the Gunner's will triumph.

Or so all the shareholders are hoping anyway.
