Not read this anywhere, you sure you didn't dream it? Blackpool are still saying there's been no offer for Adam. You lot only want to pay 7M for him too, which they rejected in January. If Jordan Henderson is worth 13M and Ngog then Charlie Adam is worth 10M at least, surely.

i think i jumped the gun with this. apparently he has agreed to personal terms but the fee is yet to be finalised. They reckon its 8mill + a player(s) blackpools way on loan. I think its Jonjo Shelvey that is going

Goal Machine!

Fernando Torres may have found the target only once in 18 games for Chelsea but the £50million striker launched pre-season on Tuesday with a goal after only seven minutes.

Torres came on at half-time as his side beat Wycombe Wanderers 3-0 in a practice match, held behind closed doors at their training ground in Surrey.

It was the first chance for Andre Villas-Boas to see his players in competitive action and the new manager used 23 players, with no-one playing more than 45 minutes.

Villas-Boas varied his formations, starting with Didier Drogba up front alone and John Mikel Obi anchoring a five-man midfield, then playing a familiar 4-3-3 system in the second half with Torres, Nicolas Anelka and Salomon Kalou in attack.

Frank Lampard, Petr Cech and Alex were left out to rest minor niggles and expect to play at Portsmouth on Saturday. Yossi Benayoun and Slobodan Rajkovic, the 22-year-old Serb, were the other scorers.

LOL, yea sure you hated and never rated Torres and weren't remotely gutted when he left...... tbh still don't really see Yossi as a Chelsea player...must be the teeth (or that he hasn't played that much for us). I do rate him though and hope he'll get a better crack in the first team under AVB.

Yossi is still one of the most underrated players in the league imo, put him and Torres on the feild and I think you will see Torres hit the back of "ye ol uniun bag" (FUCK I HATE TOMMY!!!!) more
I would certainly have him back at Anfield

yea it was a shame he got injured, was out for a while then came right a bit late in the season when were making a final push. Torres wasn't a 'plug and play' solution in our system. I'm positive AVB will get the best out of him and Yossi hopefully.
