Absolutely wishful thinking, yes he'll go in the summer not January.

French Radio station (same Radio that was bang on the money when Hazard signed) has reported that Falcao has signed for Chelsea at the end of the season. Which hopefully means Athletico Legend Torres could be going the other way....

While it is likely only a rumour, it's backed up the fact that the Athletico boss was in London recently and you can bet he wasn't talking to Spurs or Arsenal.

I'll of course only believe it when I see him holding a shirt though.

Who CAN go to Chelsea? There's only one or two possibly available managers left in the world, and either way any decent manager surely can see that it's suicide to take up the job.

Why do Chelsea fans not want Abramovich out of the club? Sure he has bought success, but as a massive price, and not just dollars.

Not a horrible game this morning, two shit goals for Chelsea(First was a decent finish from Mata I must admit), a good finish from Feo, Arsenal disappeared for the first half and Chelsea disappeared for the second.

Hmm, Only one team in it for the first half, dodgy calls or not. Second half you were always going to come at us and we soaked up pressure and defended really well (for us and Walcott's not easy to hold) despite having a combo in the pivot that doesn't really work and we unlucky not to counter you a few times. Sadly he stuck with our under performing striker and it's obvious to anyone that he isn't a threat and that he couldn't shake Vermaelen or skin Mertesacker who has the pace of a "depressed tortoise" and the turning circle of a humvee.

As for Roman, it's a double edged sword. He has invested massively and obviously (all?) the fans appreciate that. His stone cold approach and his lack of patience and football nouse is massively frustrating at times and there are of course pockets of fans want him out. These are the same fans that won't let him sell the bridge and build a bigger ground.

As far as managers go yea, who'd want to come to us with our record we're a bad joke in that respect. He's nearly gone full circle almost and he maybe got the slap in the face from Pep that was needed. Moyes was a name banded about by the press but surely he won't want to come, he doesn't need to he's on a good deal where he is, depends if he wants to try a new environment where he doesn't have to penny pinch but I'd doubt it would be at Chelsea. So at a huge price (for full circle and better the devil you know reasons) I don't think it beyond the realms of possibility that we'll see Jose back there. A no brainer to win back a section of the fans really but maybe not all though. It's easy to remember with the proverbial rose tinteds how great it was when Jose was there. However, when he was close to the door though the reality was that he was continually embarrasing us by constantly making excuses when gobbing off in the press and at times playing really boring (however necessary he thought it was) football. No question I'd take him over Rafa any day though you can't question his credentials especially at managing egos.

Ultimately, the bottom line is no matter how bad Roman is at 'people skills' he clearly cares about the club and seems to be undeterred at the what he wants to see there. It's still his money that has brought the success and if he ever starts to mellow and take a realistic stance on things the better we will be. At least we're not in the Venky's boat or in the position of being a relatively rich but underachieving, overpriced mid table feeder club that sells its best players to the highest bidder.

Yea dumb call by Hazard really shouldn't have tried to kick the ball out but the dumb 'kid' shouldn't have been a cheeky shit and tried to hold the game up either.
