I turned the game off at half time, and not just because it was 5 am, and I had work at 10.

Fucking hell, Messi is only 22? Good on him really.

I didn't think we had much chance of winning, as I knew Messi would be on form after being off in the first, but I didn't think it would have been this bad.

Not too bothered though, we made it further than those Chelsea dickheads, and we put in a good effort against Barca in the final quarter of the first leg and for about 20 minutes all up in the second.

Same with the EPL, I do not mind how it goes from here, we have put in a lot, and it's been a great season so far, not just for us, for everyone, there are battles for every single position on the ladder.

Too true!

It is a great season.

Killa that 4th goal was outstanding, he weaved a spell on the defense who just watched it  in awe.

Probably still is, strength is in it's depth.

The top teams in most the leagues are fairly close , United went out to away goal after being  1 man down for 40 minutes.

Liverpool at 6th would do pretty well against most othetr 6th placed sides in other leagues

Recorded the Arsenal vs Barca yesterday to watch after work and tried keeping away from news websites/forums/radio. But some idiot here @ work took the morning off to watch the game and came in making a lot of noise about "The Messi Show" (his words) lol. Ouch for Arsenal

Don't forget La Liga is also very close at the moment. Looking forward to Barca vs Real Madrid this weekend. 30 games & 77 points a piece. After yesterday, I'd say FCB are faves to win but I recon its gonna be a close one

And wow @ Robben's goal this morning!!

It definitely is, look at La Liga, the top two teams have dominated, apart from them, everyone else is something like 30 points below.

Then you look at the EPL, when it's considered a break away when the top three teams are 4 or more points up on the rest.

Hahaha

Those two teams would also dominate the EPL.

The reason the EPL is close this year is nobody really hit top gear this time round, I mean Arsenal let in 5 goals and scored NONE by a bunch of so called dickheads.

Anyway bring on the World Cup, I guess you lot will be backing England to lift it

My English Ancestry forces me to back them but my top 3 teams are ......

1. Spain
2. Argentina
3. Netherlands

Good on Liverpool for carving Benfica up this morning in Europa League. We might get a trophy after all :)

Yeah I always have a soft spot for my country of birth, but realisticaly they are a long shot at best.

Nice top 3 you got there, I always put a cheeky $50 on the Netherlands as they are overdue a win.

Thats what i love about the world cup there are so many teams in with a chance.

Virtual will be doing a comp for the cup so we should all make sure we sign up, big time bragging rights to the winner for 4 years

I'd be happy for the netherlands to win the WC, especially if RVP plays a big role in doing so, and does not get any injuries!

Awesome stuff in the Europa, liking Fullham getting so far, hopefully they can go further.

Chelsea in the final of the FA cup, probably against my old mans team Spurs.

Might have to go out and watch it with him in the wee hours like we did when I was a nipper. Ahh sweet memories

Both my teams just got knocked off top of their respective leagues...
Bloody Drogba and his offside goal =P

In regards to the Champions League, Barca v Inter will be a better match than the final by far. Barca will end up winning it though imo
