Wrong decision to sell Teves to city. He's on fire and seems to like it there.

Well, he's been moaning on and on again. He's always having a cry about something that guy.

Tevez is a Man City man, they are all moaning bitches, especially Adebayor.

However, Tevez was not happy at United, so I do think it was the right decision to sell him.

sounds like he may be headed that way

he will be more hated than he is now lol

sigh

still, would rather people that didnt want to play for United to not be playing for them..... he will be hard to replace tho...

You can keep someone against their will, it's called a contract - and indeed, you *should*, else what point of a contract is there?

Depends on the personality of the player of course. Fabregas didn't get his move, but remains a quality professional who gives his all for the club. Could you say the same of Rooney? I doubt it.

problem is whats the point of holding them to a contract when they dont want to be there? i agree fully you SHOULD keep them there, and a contract SHOULD be fulfilled, but if they player is not professional enough to want to see out this obligation, why should that penalise the club in question, and why should they pay him to do fuck all? If he doesnt want to play for Man U, and wont put in a professional effort, then by all means sell him, that way the club gets some benefit, and the world sees him for what he really is.

as for rooney, all thats been said so far is he doesnt want to sign a new contract, we are yet to see whether he wont play at all for Man U, will play half assed (which he sorta has been or hasnt been playing well at least) or will give his all, id wait to see what happens out of all of this before judging just yet. Though have to say he aint looking so professional so far....

No point in enforcing contract to have him worth nothing in 18 months might as get some dosh now and move on.

Seems very odd given his previous statements about wanting to stay obviously feels a move else where with fresh hookers will help his personal life.

I don't see how any player can give anything but their all. I mean, sure, if they want out, that is fine, but that doesn't mean you should throw your toys out of the cot and have a cry.

If it was me, I would put in my best effort, while letting the manager know that I want to leave, if he says no, then I will persist, and perhaps act up - off the pitch, but not on it.

If we had sold Cesc in the last window, apparently he would've gone for 30,000,000 pounds, but I strongly believe that this season he will only get better, and become worth more.

I think the same of Rooney, players with big names don't lose value unless they do something really stupid.

Rooney will lose value as when contract up in 18 months will be a free agent and club wiill get nothing. Any buyers will also be discounting any transfer fee based on this now.

That is why I was happy for the Spurs to be in the CL, because I knew they would do nothing.

It was actually outstanding considering they lost their keeper and let in four in the first half.Credit where its due. They could have just dropped their heads and conceded 4 more in the second half.
