Loved the result this morning, Liverpool up into the top 6 from the bottom of the table (and with a proceeds from a 50million pound transfer)  Champions league spot looks out of reach, but if a few more teams beat Chelsea there could be hope.

Even the commentators thought something was up. I was talking to a Spurs fan on Facebook who even agreed with me.

EDIT: Have you seen the highlights of the game? At least two of the goals scored should not have been. I'm serious, it's rubbish how refs get away with this shit constantly. And while I am at it, if this was the other way around, and Arsenal came back from being down 4 to draw or win, I would think the same, of course if it was up to me I wouldn't give up the win in pursuit of fair game, but it's just rubbish.

First Penalty....marginal, Second penalty, ridiculous

I hate the Fucking toons, but the result helped....

I do hate Barton tho, guys a tool, my one year old cant walk and she has better balance

the "revival" of the mighty Liverpool eh...

yeah a long way to go. what would have been if kenny had been there in the first place

I want to at least hold onto top 6 this year and make a play for CL next season

we should be an attractive destination for prospective players in the summer transfers

Is this what you call Placebo?

I don't mean to rain on your parade, I am forever grateful for you guys beating Chelsea, but I do not for a second believe that if Kenny had been there this whole season that things would not have fallen apart, however the whole world has been behind the Kenny revival, so it's made it a lot easier for him. If Roy had the same belief he would have done a lot better.

I am a Roy fanboy though, so feel free to disregard this.

Yes I do believe Kenny would have made a difference right from the start. But things seem to be working out better for us they way that it has unfolded.

Roy was given more than enough time with the club and Kenny has improved our performances with the exact same team bar torres

I accept your side of this and I'll go with that.

I'm not sure what posessed Carlo (if it was Carlo of course) to change what was working very well and play Torres from the start, when he's not fully fit, doesn't know our system and also expect Drogs to somehow accomodate 2 strikers up front and have Anelka play in the hole, since when has that worked? All that was going to do  was make Liverpool all the more up for it when they clearly came expecting backs to the wall for 90 minutes, why else would you play Kuyt up on his own?

I love the jibe I've been getting today that Suarez is the better player simply because he scored on his debut, clutching at straws a bit there (unless you happen to think the fixtures they made their debuts on were somehow comparable). While I regrettably begrudge Liverpool the win (penalty calls aside) some people seemed to be missing the obvious point in that we've still got their best player even if we do have an owner that meddles where he shouldn't.

I wasn't including Stevie G in that ;p

Agreed Redman, it was just a 1-0 loss and tbh we're no worse off than we were on Friday. Most Chelsea fans had accepted we weren't going to catch ManUtd anyway so it means much more to Liverpool than it does to us.  It's just that there's a few Scousers that have got a lot of resentment and disappointment that's built up and they just need to vent..... :) Granted I'm disappointed we missed a Golden opportunity to make the end of the season a bit more interesting.

Yea, I'm definitely not saying that the team isn't at fault, it is 51% the team's fault and 49% Dowd's.

Hopefully there will be another 4-4 draw in the Chelsea Liverpool game. ;)

40 60. Can't do a hell of a lot when the Ref is blowing for free-kicks and penalties whenever he gets the chance.

Shit is heating up, I really think Money City will be able to at the very least grab a draw against Manure, then it will just be two points between the top two!

Ooh yea.
