After review, I actually do not believe the Flamini tackle is that bad. He got the ball, it was two footed but that is it.

He had no control when he 'got' the ball, no hope of playing the ball if he had "won" the challenge.  If tTo go in with 2 feet was acceptable then the teams are going to have a lot more multi million dollar players with broken ankles.

Two feet up like that should be auto red. To much chance for serious injury for a challenge like that. I thought it was a terrible challenge.

It looked worse intent wise than the shawcross one, thou I haven't seen a slow closeup of that to see what happened with that.  Was it more of a "well I missed the ball, time to sweep out his leg"?

New EPL rule, no more red cards, you just have to pay the injured players wages for red card tackles causing injury and 50% for yellow card ?

I'm pretty well only defending Flamini. Being the hypocrite that I am.

The Shawcross tackle was very similar, in a dead zone, however he went no where near getting the ball.

However I completely disagree with your other part, the offending player should not be allowed to play nor be paid for the length which the injured player sends out.

There's nothing in the rules about 'getting the ball', despite what every fucking commentator says. Tackles are either dangerous, or not.

When RVP hugged Wenger after the first goal I shed a few tears.

Lets not remind ourselves that it's basically 0-0 at this point.

Does the FA in FA Cup stand for Fhuckzache Anelka or Fhuckzache Ashley?

Can't even blame Torres...

I am very happy that it is because of Cashley that Chelsea no longer have a chance of winning anything this year. :P

Szczesny on Cashleys penalty.

Tweeps what do you think Ashley was aiming for when he took his penalty?

Is it a plane? Is it an aeroplane? No, its just ashley throwing chelsea out of the fa cup :)

I like his use of the English phrases..... lul

We have a 'chance' of winning the Champions league, granted a very fkn outside chance... but a chance. Good luck at the Nou Camp

I can't blame Cashley, Anelka is a striker and should have found the net but bottled it. Penalties are a lottery and that's the FA Cup, at least we went out to a Premier league club and not a Minnow.

COME ON ORIENT!!!
