Strong, straight runner, mean defence, great offloads and reasonable amount of pace.

He's the most standout back in the ITM cup atm

I think they have picked him for a "steady as she goes" backup option.But I think we have to give X factor players more game time before the world cup.Donald = no x factor. If he had to start a world cup finals game he would be only slightly less nervous than the whole country. He just does not have what it takes at test level IMO.I hope he proves me wrong. I hope DC does not get injured

I can't see why in the world they picked donald, outside wanting consistency. Hes a player who will never be good at the top level. While brett, who can be prone to mistakes, atleast has the potential to be good at the top level. I still can't figure why he didn't come to auckland, when he came into the blues. It would of made a lot more sense, and helped his career more then being slotted behind slade and carter.
