Of course if your an individual who can share costs with other flatmates, renting going to work out much cheaper.


But in my case (2 and a half people), we were paying $360 rent for a tiny 2 bedroom place, and now pay $415 in mortgage payments for a decent sized 3 bedroom place.

Yeah, there are still rates, but buck for buck I think we still getting a much better deal then when we were renting.
