Seems like a neat concept until one considers the reality of it. Unpacking a container to a (semi) permenant setup like that makes it pointless to use a container. But that's by the by. For the most part it is likely structurally unsound as cutting away the sides results in extreme compromise in the rigidity of the structure, which mostly comes from the corrugated panneling, not the support frame at each end. Plus it'd be extremely cold with a lack of insulation, or would suffer from extreme condensation and therefore rot if said insulation if it was added. Designers (architects) often make seemingly neat looking ideas, and the world does need lateral thinkers, don't get me wrong. But one must consider more than just asthetics before thinking it's a viable solution. When I was ten I drew a pretty awesome looking spacestation, but we're still not living amongst the stars. You'd be better off putting a kitset house IN the container.
You just got one Uped Pyropmanik
